Theatre and Film

The Department of Theatre and Film at W.T. White High School is one of excellence that strives to train its young scholars in acting, musical theatre, movement, technical theatre and film.  Each year, students have an opportunity to take Theatre 1, 2, 3/4, Technical Theatre 1, 2, 3/4, Production Ensemble, Musical Theatre and/or Film Studies.  

Our aim is to provide young theatre artists with a professional and varied skill set to enter into an excellent performing arts college program &/or to begin working professionally. This program provides the foundation for each young performer’s technique through classroom instruction, historical reference, repertoire building and production experience.  We supports equity, diversity and inclusion by providing a safe space for students to express themselves individually as well as in collaborative groups.
